Terms & Conditions

Transactions are all priced in NZ$

We charge a credit card processing fee that is clearly stated when you select your top-up amount.

Refunds / Cancellations

A refund of your account balance is available if you decide to close your account i.e. you're moving to another city. Please email us on support@mpark.co.nz and we will deposit your funds within 10 working days.

Partial refunds

After you have decided to pay for a park with mPark, this cannot be refunded if you decide to park elsewhere before your time is up.

Privacy

We collect and store your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.

mPark collects your email address, phone number and number plate(s) in order to offer our services. This information is secured by a password that you supply. This password is stored encrypted. We can not tell you your password if you loose it, we can only reset it for you.

We may disclose personal information to service providers who provide services in connection with our parking services, on condition that they use the information only for the purposes for which we give it to them. Your personal information will not be provided to any other organisation or third party under any circumstances.

Any details of your vehicle registration is used for collection and enforcement purposes and can only be disclosed to the extent permitted by law.

We employ strict security procedures to protect the information we hold. Access to and use of personal information within mPark is limited to prevent misuse or unlawful disclosure of the information.

Keeping information accurate and up to date

We take all reasonable steps to ensure that all information we hold is as accurate as possible. You may contact us at any time and ask for access to the information, and seek correction if the information we have about you is inaccurate or incomplete.

How you can access your information

We will give you access to your personal information where that information can be readily retrieved, subject to any legal or administrative reasons to deny access. If access is denied, we will provide you with the reason why. If you wish to request access to your personal information please contact us by email at support@mpark.co.nz

Security

mPark uses standard banking level encryption (https), this secures the data send from your mobile device to our server so that no-one can intercept it in transit. mPark does not capture or store any credit card data. Some models of smartphone can store card data, this feature can be turned on or off in your phones browser settings (it's called "Remember form data").

Credit expires after 1 year of inactivity

If you don't use your mPark credit balance for 365 days, mPark will assume you no longer need the service and will at it's discretion close your account and expire / forfeit your credit balance. If you wish to close your account and receive a credit please email us at support@mpark.co.nz.
